Hire Options

Option A – Standard Hire Fee

This option is suited for groups who want full control and are confident in running their own event with minimal support from our team.

Details:

  • Daytime Events (Between 9am – 5pm):
    Half day (4 hours): £250
    Full Day (8 hours): £500
  • Evening Events (Between 5pm – 22:00):
    Half day (4 hours): £350
    Full Day (8 hours): £600
This includes £100 added to cover the presence of a Farm staff on-site for safety and support (required for evening access).
  • Bar Service:
If a bar is required, the Farm can provide this, as it helps raise additional income for our work. It will be run by one staff member alongside volunteers. There is no additional charge for bar provision, but event organisers must confirm bar needs in advance so we can plan accordingly. If you would like to run your own bar at the event, you will need to apply for a Temporary Event Notice (TEN) from the Bristol council.
  • Key info:
The event is self-managed: the organiser provides all crew, tech, volunteers, etc.
  • A pre-event planning meeting with the Farm’s event manager is required.
  • You are responsible for ticketing, promotion, and clean-up.
Option B – Revenue Share

This is a good choice for artists or groups who may not have the funds to pay the hire fee but can commit to promoting and delivering a successful ticketed event.

Details:

  • No hire fee is charged upfront.
  • We take 30% of total ticket sales (gross turnover).
  • The organiser retains 70%.
  • A basic venue team will be on-site to support access and smooth running before the event.
  • Bar can be available on request.
  • We will support the promotion of the event.

Important:

  • A written agreement will be required confirming the ticket pricing, capacity, and share details.
  • After the event, you must provide final ticket sales figures. We will then issue an invoice for our agreed share of the income.
Option C – Partnership / Co-Production

We’re open to exploring partnership events or co-productions where:

  • We work together on programming and delivery.
  • Costs, risks, and responsibilities are shared.
  • This might apply to community-led festivals, themed series, or experimental formats.

Please contact us to discuss potential partnership ideas.

Additional Considerations

  • Licensing: The venue has a premises license. All events must comply with its conditions, particularly sound levels and finish times.
  • Capacity: Approx. 150 seated. This may vary based on setup.
    Stage dimensions: 8.8m (length) x 5.4m (width)
  • Generator Hire:
    • Up to 4 hours – £35
    • Up to 8 hours – £55
    • (Includes fuel and setup)
  • Accessibility: Limited due to the terrain. Please discuss with us in advance if access support is needed or read more here.
  • Parking is limited: We can provide one parking space next to the venue. Beyond this, organisers will need to arrange alternative parking. There is some free street parking available in the surrounding area.
  • Insurance: Event organisers must hold public liability insurance.
Sustainability: We encourage low-waste events and can provide guidance.
