Location filming on the Farm

St Werburghs City Farm, our sites, spaces and animals have been the setting for fashion shoots, film, theatre, and some major TV productions.

We have some rare spaces to offer including a level paddock, outbuildings, stables, hobbit house, greenhouses and polytunnels on the Farm. At our woodland nature reserve there is a larch barn, roundhouse, wooden amphitheatre, outdoor kitchen, camp ground and loads of winding paths through a small woodland and orchard.

Pricing

We enjoy welcoming film crews of all sizes to the Farm and we aim to provide adequate resourcing to enable your flexible and safe use of the spaces. We price each filming enquiry individually depending on the scale of the production and the extent of support required from our team to enable your space use, as well as other considerations. Get in touch to discuss your needs.

As a guide for small and non-commercial productions:

Hourly Rate: small crews (1 – 3 people, 1 camera) on site pricing:

£100 – Filming animals and the farm from public paths, with minimal staff involvement

£250 – Filming animals with 1 member of staff facilitating access to enclosures and animal handling for up to 2 hours.

Corporate Filming & Photography

Small Animals Package

£500 for up to 5 hours or £750 for up to 10 hours.

Includes: Filming with less than three types of animals on-site or small animals only off-site, with staff to facilitate access to enclosures and animal handling. (Small animals could include: chickens, ducks, turkeys)

Large Animals Package

£1000 for up to 5 hours or £1500 for up to 10 hours.

Includes: Filming more than three types of animals, large and small, on- or off-site, with staff to facilitate access to enclosures and animal handling. (Large animals could include: goats, sheep and pigs)

Large Film Production

For large crews who want to use significant parts of our sites.

This bespoke offer can involve using significant parts of our sites for days and even weeks. We have successfully hosted some major productions on our sites and enabled the construction of complex set builds. Drop us a line to arrange a site visit and discuss options and availability. We are also listed on the Bristol Film Office Location Database.
