Take your friends and family to the midst of a magical woodland, food forest and conservation site.
Boiling Wells can host up to six green woodland weddings each year and celebrations take place on Saturdays.
Nestled in a tranquil woodland valley a five minute walk from St Werburghs City Farm, Boiling Wells is 2.5 acres of rich nature with a steeped orchard, rambling soft fruit, grass terraces, wild green spaces, native trees and a nearby stream.
The seclusion, peace and serenity of the site is what makes it so special.
Our Wedding Package Details
Our Woodland Wedding package includes exclusive site hire from 2PM on FRIDAY until 8PM on SUNDAY.
With the hire of the Boiling Wells site, you have use of:
- Gazebos
- 8m x 4m marquee
- Rustic wooden tables / benches
- Event coordinator to be present for you on the day, make sure everything runs smoothly and to liaise with caterers, toilet hire companies, etc.
To help you get started, we’ve put together a list of great local producers and green suppliers to ensure your event has that “Made in Bristol” feel. We can link you up with the City Farm Cafe, Houria Catering, Pie Minster or the Thali Cafe for bespoke catering options.
You’re welcome to bring decorations (reduce, reuse and recycle), but please take everything away afterwards, and please remove trash and recycling with you.
Wedding Details
Facilities: a beautiful larch barn, grass‐roof wooden round house, outdoor amphitheatre, outdoor kitchen, cob pizza oven, fire circle, may pole and willow sculptures not to mention the wildflowers, wildlife and loads of winding paths and hidden corners waiting to be explored.
Schedule: weddings must end no later than 11PM in accordance of our license and alcohol cannot be sold on site with the exception of City Farm event bars. You will have exclusive site hire from 1PM on FRIDAY until 8PM on SUNDAY.
Capacity: weddings are limited to 150 guests.
The site has running water and gas supply to the outdoor kitchen but is totally off grid.
Solar panels on the barn roof enable low voltage lighting to the kitchen and barn but there is no other electricity supply.
Site dimensions: 2.5 acres.
